I had successfully installed Avast Anti-Theft on my HP Touchpad with Cyanogenmod 9 installed. Or so I thought. Apparently the "Backup Method" I chose ("Direct Write Method", "Recovery Image Method", "Custom backup list") caused the Touchpad to no longer be able to cold boot (after it switched off due to low battery).

At least, that's what I think caused it since I never experienced any problems with my Touchpad before and the very first time it switched off after installing Anti-Theft, it would not turn on again (and I had to do some debrick procedure to get the Touchpad back to life again).

So for the HP Touchpad, what's the proper Backup Method?
