GLOBAL & SHIELD-LEVEL EXCLUSIONS BEING IGNORED
« on: June 05, 2013, 09:46:43 PM »

OK, so AVAST happily examines scripts from TUNEIN.COM...even though that URL is listed in both
the Global and Shield-level exclusion lists..... :-\

Que pasta, guys? Problems with parsing?  Ignoring asterisks?  Have you set up a TEST somewhere
on your site so we can verify stuff is working ?  Like, for all shields?

OR.. does the freebie version not process exclusions??  Maybe I missed that factoid somewhere.... :o

Thanks.....

What exactly did you put into the list of exclusions (post a screenshot of the settings window, please), and what exactly is being scanned (plus, how do you know it's being scanned)?
Thanks.

If we are talking about on-demand scans, then yes - the enumeration/progress can show the files even if they actually won't be scanned.
For shields, I think it shouldn't be the case... well, I mean ordinary shields; I don't think Behavior Shield applies any exclusions, it also doesn't perform ordinary scanning. So what shield do you mean and what exactly appears in the last scanned field?
