problem between kapersty and avast

I am nat sure to be able to explain in english...
      When i installed avast, kapersky was not taken off. I have a message from avast that the scan is inacrive because o the other AV. But now KAV is not anymore on my computer but avast still go on with this message. Imposible to do anything where the bowl is because here it says ir si active. The bowl does'nt turn.
 Windows says that thr AV is inactive. Please HELP!!!

Your English is fine.

Run this utility to remove all traces of Kaspersky from the registry:
http://www.ice-kav.com/downloads/util/KAV_Registry_Clean.zip
ICE is a US distributor for Kaspersky.

Once you have removed the remnants of KAV, reboot and check if avast is running normally. If not try, uninstall, reboot, install, reboot.

The first solution seems to have solved the problem, the bowl turns and the message from avast has not appeared.
