Expired key on Windows Vista Beta 2...
« on: June 10, 2006, 05:26:25 PM »
I have installed avast! on Windows Vista Beta 2 (x86) and entered my key as usual. But when i wanted to update i got error that my license expired. W00t, i check the About box and it says expires on "1 june 2006" even though this very same license should last for much longer, most certanly till May 2007 if i remember correctly.

I know Vista isn't ready as well isn't avast! but feedback can't hurt right?

I probably see what the problem may come from. The dreaded UAP!! :)

Try inserting the key from the program (not from the tray icon), that should help.

Thanks

Tried both, no avail. I also disabled UAP and nothing changed.
Well i trashed Vista Beta 2 (it's nice for time being but not really useful as it's still pretty buggy and slow) so i can't try anymore heh.

Installed today and it's working...
Well, I choose to get both updates and activation when I were online.
The activation should be done 14 days after installation...  ::)
