Avast often has trouble loading the tray icon when I start up my computer and totally freezes everything (hourglass on desktop and can't do anything). After restarting once or twice it usually shows up like it's supposed and things are fine, no pattern. I already checked settings to load only after other services and also per David changed the notepad to delay loading Avast to 600 seconds. Not knowing what else to do, I unchecked AvastUI.exe from startup tab under msconfig and I think that solves the problem. I just have to open Avast manually. But after checking startup items, avastUI.exe. rechecked itself! Anyway to keep it unchecked or will it always do that when I manually open Avast? Thanks
