My machine had been acting funny for a little bit. It's a 64 bit amd machine. I have both 64 bit XP and 32 bit XP on this machine.. It started slowing down incredibly. I did a virus scan and found nothing at all.. My internet security is set to medium and Java console hadn't recorded any kind of intrusions on either os, but the AVAST icon in the system tray was also constantly moving..
So I went to
http://housecall.trendmicro.com and ran their online scanner..
The following java viruses/trojans were on my machine and Avast! wasn't fixing them.. Or letting me know they were there..

I am considering removing avast! if there isn't some guard against this malware and moving to another product.. Is java protected on the latest avast! home?
