kerio blocks 127.0.0.1
« on: April 11, 2005, 04:52:30 PM »
I've just installed kerio and i've a problem, sometimes  i can't acces to internet through avast proxy (127.0.0.1)  it says "no data in this document"  when i tick direct access to the internet in firefox  it's fine but it doesn't work when i have to pass through this adress... what should i do? ???

in foxmail, i can't retrieve all my accounts at the same time, i have to do it one by one.

Desactivation of kerio doesn't solve the pb, only if I quit kerio resolves the pb...

i think i'll go back to ZA...

To get rid of the Firefox message, go to Webshield/customize and check the "ignore local communications" box.  Which version of KPF are you using?  Kerio should have 127.0.0.1 in the trusted zone by default, so you should check that.

If you have W98, you can try editing avast4.ini under [webscanner] to include IgnoreLocalhost=1.  Unfortunately I don't have a W98 machine to try it out on.

Sorry no redirect and no ignores in Win98.

Cvsa did you allow Web Scanner to access the internet (in Kerio) ?
