The avast free security plugin will not install in google chrome

HI I have a small issue I am not sure if this is a bug or not.  I have Google Chrome browser the lasted version installed on my computer desktop.  I noticed the other day when I went into extensions in google chrome the security plug-in in extensions has a check mark in the box and it is enabled. 

Then I went into avast free and I clicked on the settings tab in the right corner and then I clicked on the Browser Integration tab  and then I saw that Internet Explorer has the security plug-in is installed but I did notice that google Chrome the plug-in is not installed.  So then I pushed on the install button and it takes me out on the google chrome browser because that is my default browser on my computer.  Then I pushed on install the security plugin.  The problem is that I cannot install the security plugin for google chrome no matter what I do.

Could I get some help please thanks very much.

Nothing to help with. Its a bug on Avast's part. If it shows up under your Chrome extension list then its installed. Google Chrome has every extension now only be part of the Chrome store. I may be wrong but I read that.

seems to be a bug and needs addressing in an update
