ff bookmarks in safezone

Howdy- new to avast, running internet security- find it somewhat complicated/sophisticated for av programs i have encountered. But- the issue at hand - ff will not import some bookmarks. shows old ones but not new ones, except it DID do one banking site but not another.

anyone having same issue? noticed there were similar problems no answers. Using vista home basic.

The safe zone doesn't use firefox, it is a custom version of chromium that is used.

So I can only presume that you are using the Sandbox ?

If so then you can remove the existing copy of firefox in the sandbox and import it again, that should bring in your current bookmarks.

That's what i mean by complicated. I have used firefox forever as default browser and safezone browser imported all my bookmarks, including a bank site i added, and runs them. But not new ones, like, say kijiji and a credit card site i want to use. I have used sandbox too, which doesn't seem any different as a browser, i mean runs the same, cept says it is running virtualized. Thought changing default browser to IE would import those bookmarks but doesn't, guess I have to clear browser settings to defaults ( what you mean by reinstall?) and would it then import all new ff and  IE8 bookmarks?

Not a dummy, hopefully, but getting used to this program..  manual pretty basic...

I didn't say reinstall, I was talking about the sandboxing of firefox. Removal of firefox from the sandbox and then importing it back in that should be using the current bookmarks. I can't be detailed in how to do this as I don't have the avast Sandbox,

As far as the safe zone browser goes - There should be nothing to stop you bookmarking kijiji or credit card site you want to use.

got it. was a reset. also found out how to change browsers. duh.
