Problem on connecting Web...

Since a few days ago (but i've been using Avast since a month!) i cannot connect to the web due to Avast web protection. I tried whether to pump protection down or put in  pause provider but...no way to solve the problem.
Only by stopping the web protection i'm able to connect the web.
What else i can do?  Thanks.

Try and update to the latest beta version by running this: http://files.avast.com/files/beta/aswbeta.exe

I don't think updating to the beta version is the solution to your problem it may compound it as many elements will have changed which may also be potentially blocked by a firewall.

Have you recently update the program?

Check and ensure that your firewall (you don't say which one you use) allows access to ashWebSv.exe

You were right. Great. I simply update my "Zone alarm" firewall to let my Avast antivirus work. Thanks a lot.
