Cannot repair files
« on: September 22, 2003, 09:43:08 PM »
I've got some problems with Avast:
- it cannot repair infected files by viruses.
- it reveals a virus also inside of its installation program...
Well, it's kind of ridiculous...

Mcafee 4.0 is damn old. What engine and Dat-Version do you use? With engine 4.2.60 and DAT 4294 no Problems here. What does Mcafee reports?

The version is the 4.1 Professional and the viruses are located in the moved data directory...
So it's supposed to be like a qurantine directory where infected files are stored...
