On my Windows 8 client i have a VPN connection to my home network.
The connection worked great before and during the period of time avast internet security was installed. After uninstalling avast internet security the connection to my vpn is broken.
I am getting the error, that the remote server could not be reached. For testing i have disabled the windows firewall with the same result.
After reinstalling avast internet security, the vpn will work again. After uninstall the vpn is broken.
From a clean Windows 8 Client (never installed avast internet security) the vpn works fine with the same configuration.
Therefore i think that avast internet security broke something with the windows vpn configuration.
Can someone help me please to get the things working again?
Current installed Avast IS version: 8.0.1489
