System Tray Failed, AGAIN!
« on: April 19, 2005, 04:38:07 PM »
Well my icon dissapeared from my system tray. So then I went to the help sight and found out how to fix it. So I tried both ways they told me how to fix it and they both failed. THen I went to the user face, and I clicked on the resident scanner link and put it on standard. It was its still on standard but when I click on it again, it goes back to "disabled". Its driving me nuts!! THank you if you help me.

1. Try RejZor's AEC avast! External Control program to restore the avast icon.

2. Try a repair of avast. Add Remove programs, avast! Anti-Virus, Change/Remove button and scroll down to Repair, click next and follow. You need to be on-line to do this.

3. If that doesn't work try, uninstall, reboot, install, reboot.
