I installed Avast Mobile on my wife's phone. She has just got off a plane. Before departure she activated flight mode on her phone. When she landed she tried to turn off FLIGHT MODE only to now be standing in an airport with the ALARM going off. I am an hour's flight away from her and she had to borrow a fellow passenger's phone in distress, EMBARRASSMENT, and ABSOLUTELY FURIOUS that about this issue.
I have tried sending UNLOCK and FOUND from both my phone and her online account but it seems the phone is LOCKED in FLIGHT MODE and IT DOESN'T RESPOND to the commands.
HELP
Other than taking out the battery, and then being without a phone for the next four days, what can we do.

UPDATE:
Crisis over. We're not sure what happened but after nearly three hours, the phone unlocked and the alarm stopped.
BTW: lots of males tried to open the phone to take out the battery but no-one succeeded - it seems like the Sony Xperia Acro S covers are really really really hard to take off!
