Web Shield interferes with the download of .NZB files

I regularly downlaod .NZB files from Newzbin.com.  For about a week I've noticed that any .NZB file take about 5-10 minutes to start downloading.  This happens with both IE and Firefox.

If I turn off Web Sheild everything is fine.

Could someone investigate why this is happening?  Thanks

Using latest Avast - 4.6.623.

Anyone?  I can't believe I'm the only one getting this!  Or is is back to AVG? ???

You are not the only one, a search of the forums for .NZB will return one other thread, but that too remains unresolved despite attempts to replicate the problem.
