hello, the last few times i have tried to update i get a message telling me the package is broken. how can i fix this ???

1) Please send me file setup.log from avast4\setup directory. My email is kubecj at asw D0T cz

2) Now uninstall and reinstall the latest version. We don't have better solution now. Sorry.

I am also getting this error when I try to do an iavs update :-[

You may try to delete the file <avast>\setup\part-prg_av_pro*.vpu .
That might help.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving's not for you.

Remember that there are two versions of vpsupd.exe (one for avast! 4.0 and another for avast! 4.1).
