Avast Error 0x80046401

Please read this to see all the troubleshooting steps I have already taken.

It seems that everything was OK. However, I hardly ever reboot my machine, preferring to just use hibernate. Today I finally rebooted, after which Avast again says Not Yet Registered at the top of the program, yet in the Registration section, it says Registered 0 days remaining.

When I try to register, I now get a slightly different error to when I posted the previous topic. I fill in the registration form, click Register, and then instantly get: Error 0x80046401

Any ideas?

Here you go. All my errors in one screenshot:

Getting the exactly same error here. Even worse, the Avast icon in the notification area shows with a red cross, and Windows complains about the antivirus program not started. grinlord, were you able to fix the problem?
