Win32-Toolbar
« on: July 07, 2013, 11:44:36 PM »
Somehow I have managed to contract a "Win32-Toobar-N [Pup] infection.

Also, after getting infected I got a notice that popped up purportedly from Avast requesting to run a scan.  I began the scan and in its process it showed not only the "Win-32 Toolbar" infection but a notice popped up saying something to the effect:  CAD Archive is corrupted Error 42127."  I do not know what this means.

I got afraid that the popup from Avast may not actually have been from Avast so I stopped that scan.

I then ran a complete Avast Antivirus scan but I am not certain this captured my problems.

How may I have my laptop checked to see if I am virus free?

Thank you
