We are running Avast SOA on SBS server 2011 (updated) with a number of clients attached both direct on the network and remotely.
Versions are:
Client version 8.0.1603
SOA program version 1.3.3.35
Database version 1450
We are having problems with the virus definition updates on the server, where updates run fine for a number of days (usually about 2 or 3) and then the updates just stop working. This applies to every subsequent attempt of the update job, the Job history shows as 'FAILED' rather than the 'FAILED, time exceeded' message that I have seen infrequently from time to time.
I have tried the update job manually similar effect.
Having rebooted the server the updates work again for a few days and then revert to failed and continue as failed until rebooted again.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling SOA, the same happens.
Has anyone experienced this and offer advice how I can fix it, or tell me which log file(s) I should look at to identify the issue.
