Anybody else having problems hiding the icon on the system tray? I choose hide icon but it keeps coming back.

How/where are you trying to hide it ?

Yes it works just fine on my XP system, been hidden (Start > Properties > Taskbar tab > Customize button, avast (always hide) for some hours now.
