Software Updater

Avast keeps wanting to update my Flash Player.Software updater keeps telling me CRITICAL but its the latest version.Beside shutting down the updater,is there any way to fix the problem ?

Why don't you just simply update your flash player. Then you will no longer see the warning. Its that easy. It is not a problem unless you never update your software. Avast is doing you a favor and informing you that your flash player is currently out of date.

Open the Software Updater Settings and reset your database.

Click the More details to expand the entry for the item and check if the two version values are the same ?

There will be two versions of flash player, one for IE (Flash Player ActiveX) and another for Plugin based browsers (Flash Player Plugin), firefox, chrome, etc. So you still have to keep the IE version up to date, so you would have to check both items version values are the same.
