OK all the other stuff has been deleted so you will no longer find that..  I guess you mean Avast is not offering the chrome browser on install.  If so you can download Chrome here https://www.google.com/intl/en_uk/chrome/browser/

What should I do with the one I have? Because here I go again with the duplicate files in my downloads again...am I supposed to uninstall it? But I don't want to lose all my Bookmarks...

Could you explain exactly what the problem is within chrome...  Is it webrep not appearing ?

I'm sorry essexboy I don't know what a "webrep" is....All I know is what I've already explained to you...I'm just confused on this chrome browser thing here...is this a new Chrome Browser all together?

Could you open Avast
Go to settings > browser integration and ensure that chrome is selected there

Sorry got distracted by this heat and my grandson...I just went ahead and downloaded that link you had for me for google chrome...and then I went back to my aswcleaner and uninstalled my avast and went back to my original post where you helped me and I'm downloading that Avast you first gave me...it sure is taking a very long time to download...first said 24 min and has 7 min left now.

Ok essexboy...after installing that Google Chrome that you had for me and when I just went back and did what I just said above what I did after the install of the new Avast...I'm glad to say...that this new Avast has finally got my Google Chrome in there. Yippee 8)

And with all the other help you did for me those files are gone and I feel better knowing that nothing is attached to any of my files from long ago. 8)

essexboy you are my hero and I know I've been your worst nightmare these past few days or maybe a week lol...but I seriously can't Thank You enough for hanging in there with me and helping me fix all this. I really appreciate everything you've done for me. If I could give you a raise or a medal or a plaque on your door or even a beer I would,,,Job well done.

Glad to hear that..  Now run OTL and press the cleanup button, that will remove OTL and its associated folders :)

Ok that's deleted...Now what should I do with the 4 other Avast set-ups 3 from last week and 1 from earlier in the month...just delete them also?
