Evaluating Avast on a PC with (disabled) Norton AV
« on: April 25, 2005, 12:14:54 PM »
Is it possible to download and install Avast for evaluation purposes onto a PC which has Norton already installed (but disabled)?

OS = XP Pro
Norton 2005
Zone Alarm

Many thanks in advance.

Simply said... Do not do that ! Doesn't matter you have Norton disabled, having two antiviruses in the same time, especially system hog as Norton is, will literally "kill" your system. You'll face unbelievable problems, so better stick with one. Of course, avast! is a way ahead of Norton in any way  ;) .

Cheers !
