Yahoo Mail wont come up

HI, I installed the newest version of avast pro. and now I cannot get my yahoo mail.   :(  I surf the web fine, but it just won't go to yahoo mail..  any help is appreciated

Hello Lenora, usuall bunch of questions:

What's your OS version?
What's your avast version exactly?
Do you use any personal firewall, which one?
Do you use any other security software? (anti-spyware, antivirus, firewall, ad-blocker)

Windows XP is my OS, avast version 4.6-652, I use the  regular firewall built into Windows XP. I do not use any other security software.
