Is Avast Trying To Update?

I'm wonder why has avast been stuck on this screen for like 10 minutes now since i clicked update.. I have just started to use avast again [Haven't used avast since Feb 2013].. Is avast updating in the background downloading the update and that is why it is stuck on this screen in the update tab place?

EDIT: Post awaiting deletion now.. It just updated after like 15 minutes..
