Uninstall

For some reason i can't seem to uninstall using the Add/Remove programs in windows xp.  I was wondering if there is another way i can uninstall.

Use http://files.avast.com/files/eng/aswclear.exe
But, did anything wrong happen when you try to install?
Why are you uninstalling? Which is your operational system?

Windows XP and im uninstalling because i dont wish to use the program anymore.  I did not have any problems installing it either.
