Discover computers by subnet (multiple subnets)
« on: July 29, 2013, 10:38:19 PM »
We have computers on multiple subnets in our environment.  I'm not easily finding a way to enter our subnets or ip ranges to be searched in a discovery.  I've read some guides and searched these forums.  I found one thread that seems to be unanswered:

Can somebody shed some light on this?  With other programs there is usually a place to enter subnets or ip ranges to be searched.

thanks!

Still no replies.  Obviously this product isn't ready for prime-time.  Neither is the support.  Moving on.

What console are you using: ASOA or AEA?

I have the same question, using AEA.

@tylerhen   do you have AD setup with DNS registering the clients on the different subnets?   If the clients are in the DNS with their subnet IP then there shouldnt be a problem (I have several subnets which work fine for me, but those clients are found based on AD/DNS, not on IP scan)
