Weird behavior of Anti-Theft on v3 beta
« on: August 04, 2013, 07:55:22 PM »
Today I was with other people, enjoying the Sunday, which is a sun + day here... and I've entered in the airplane mode.
When I've disabled it, the Anti-Theft alarm go crazy...
Of course I did not even open the battery compartment and did not change the SIM.
Anybody knows what is happening?

By the way, when will we see a more responsible window of AMS or AB or AT to the entered password...
It takes ages for the phone to recognize the numbers, some of them are "by-passed"... I can't believe...

Why?

By the way, is it only a feeling or the PIN recovery received a HUGE improvement in speed and responsiveness?

Tech, are you using a custom ROM on your Galaxy Nexus?

It's the best ROM I've found... Tested a lot of them :)

That might be the issue then. I did something to the password dialog, but it should affect only really broken ROMs and it seems you have one of them :( That bug might not only affect our dialog, but performance of our other components as well and actually, other apps included.

Please, can you share (by mail) more info about this bug so I can send it to the ROM developers? Please...
