Hmmmm.

Passed the extended test too.

Very strange...

Do you have any idea why a lot of my files and folders have a bronze padlock on them since I reset the default access and ownership settings?

My computer just crashed and blue screened.

Problem signature:
  Problem Event Name:   BlueScreen
  OS Version:   6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1
  Locale ID:   2057

Additional information about the problem:
  BCCode:   116
  BCP1:   FFFFFA800555C4E0
  BCP2:   FFFFF88004A206A0
  BCP3:   0000000000000000
  BCP4:   0000000000000002
  OS Version:   6_1_7600
  Service Pack:   0_0
  Product:   256_1

Files that help describe the problem:
  C:\Windows\Minidump\081013-46441-01.dmp
  C:\Windows\Temp\WER-92321-0.sysdata.xml

I wrote down all the stuff of the screen but I guess this information is sufficient? Any idea what happened? Does kind of seem like a hard drive issue. But nothing came up on the test. I'm glad I have someone with your kind of experience on my side here or I'd be completely lost.

Could you check in C:\Windows\minidump

Once there could you upload the latest one to a file sharing site like mediafire for me to collect and analyse

This too is the only one in the Minidump folder that has a padlock icon.

That is indicating a time out problem on your GPU now

I feel at this stage you would probably be better either repairing windows or installing SP1 to see if that cures it, there is a problem with windows itself

So you think the GPU timeout is just a side affect?

Well like I said I tried to repair windows before but it didn't seem to work. I might try installing SP1. Do you think the problem with windows is caused by a virus?

Thanks so much for all your help.

No this appears to be a windows related problem, I can see no signs of malware
