avast plus MalwareBytes plus a good firewall with HIPS.
Chrome add-ons...AdBlock Plus, Do Not Track Me, Web of Trust and Virus Total.

Avast has AdBlocker, which is AdBlock Plus under the logo of avast ;)(it is powered by AdBlock Plus)

Not entirely accurate, in that it isn't "AdBlock Plus under the logo of avast" in fact if avast sees you have the firefox AdBlock Plus add-n already installed then avast won't install AdBlocker. Not only that, I feel that AdBlock Plus is more configurable allowing for the addition of more filters.

Here is my setup:
Win7 Home all softwares and OS patches applied+Autorun Disabled+Sandboxie+WinPatrol free+MCShield+MBAM Pro.  ;D

You can add avast to this if you want.  :)

Oh, i installed AdBlock Plus and now i can see the difference. It is much better than the avast ad blocker.  ;)
