It's not the speed that counts RejZor... it's nice if you have speed, but most important is to have good design. I hope skin looks neat and simple enough for everybody. That was my goal. Once you have all those skins behind you, you learn routine... Actually once you have all graphic parts ready, compiling the skin is piece of cake now... All those tens and tens of small graphic pieces are most difficult part. After that, everything goes much easier... I am also in the middle of finishing few huge web/flash projects, and that was the main reason I had not much spare time to use on this skin... so I had to search for "holes", haha  ;D

Take care and update us with your work... something like I did in that thread I started... so we can see your progress and give possible suggestions.

Cheers !

Edit: I changed the name of the skin as you pointed out that thing regarding CoolWEBsearch... see that thread where I posted preview pics... Thanks RejZor !

All I forgot to ask Jill something:  If you are still using AVG and not avast!  What are you doing here?  ???

I am here because twice I had Avast and have the forum in my favorites and I would have it again with some major overall changes.  I thought that  just maybe my input would be helpful. I don't think for one minute your attitude and the other poster after you, is the attitude of this board as a whole.

When the moderators tell me to leave, then I will do so.  As for you, dear one, I will ignore what you said.

I had big fun reading this thread.  ;D

Funny that a person can say a skin should look like some other antivirus interface and then say that another skin looks too much like a certain OS interface... Kind of contradicting...  ;) I'm not judging you here, but just finding it funny to read.

It really doesn't matter. The goal when one creates a skin should not be to try to please the majority, but to create something original or following the creator's particular idea.

If you want to do a skin looking like a certain OS, do it. If you prefer to try something totally new from scratch, do it. You should never create yourself barriers that may diminish your art. Simply follow what YOU personally want to create.

In my opinion, creation of any kind, (music, painting, skin, you name it) should remain total freedom. It's fine if it's inspired by something that already exists, as long as it have something new to reveal, and it's fine if it's totally unknown too.

Hey Kamulko!

If I understand right, this picture is showing the Avast team, right? Can you introduce us with the members? I mean, can you tell us their first names, and where they are on the pic?

Thanks.  :D

Woo-hoo, thanks a lot again.

It's fun to see faces "behind" the big brains (I should say "in front of" the big brains).

Hahahahaha.

Nice team.
