file system shield & virus definition update problems
« on: August 04, 2013, 03:41:39 PM »
1. If avast is installed on OSX which is on an MBR disk, after system's reboot for completing installation, the file system shield will become out of order, as shown by the second attatchment.
If the "com.avast.fileshield" is quited by activity monitor, then the "com.avast.fileshield" will restart and the status of file system shield will become normal, which is displayed by the third and fourth attachment.
On OSX which is on a GUID disk, everything is OK, no problems as above.
2. When installation of avast for mac completes, the update causes too much data of write, over 7 GB!,  which is not a problem on HDD, but really an issue on SSD, shown in the first attachment.
