Avast detects a Trojan on a relieable website (?)
« on: August 09, 2013, 10:31:01 AM »
Hello and thank you for the great software you guys offer. :) I can not describe how useful, secure and reliable it is!

However, Avast! 8 denies my access to the following webste http://www.i-pet.gr/ saying there's a Trojan Horse.

I had no isses in the past with the certain site, please any explanation?

Thank you very much for your time and keep protecting us with your lovely AV!

There really is no such thing as a reliable/trusted web site now as sites are hacked with monotonous regularity.

As browsing the viruses and worms forum can attest.

Thank you guys for your replies, they're very much appreciated.

It looks like the website is indeed infected and Avast! saved my back there. :)

You're welcome, just goes to show, even sites you use regularly and think are reliable/trusted can get hacked/infected.
