virus found disabled

in the sound settings of avast (4.6.652) I found that "virus found' alert is disabled by default. Is this normal?  ::)

As far as I'm aware avast sounds are enabled by default. You have to tick the Disable avast! sounds (to over ride the default), checking the settings to show which sounds are in the avast! Antivirus section, mine shows virus found.

For me it's enable by default, the update does not change the sound state.
Maybe you use some 'automatic' registry cleaner that could, maybe, restore the sounds to the default...  ::)
