AIS Script Shield runnning and active but no scanning activity shown

Appears not to scan anything in either Chrome 28.0.1500.95 m or FF version 23.0.  Works just fine in IE 10, intercepts and scans scripts run in IE.  Is  problem with changes in newest updated browsers from GC and FF?

Issue ongoing for a few days now, repair done already, no change.  Is avast! aware of this issue?

Seem to recall back in Feb or March of this year, we had a similar issue with Script Shield, and a download fix was made available to all members. 

Any chance of that happening again? 

I prefer not to run betas of any sort.
