Webrep on Mozilla Seamonkey, on a Mac
« on: August 10, 2013, 03:33:38 AM »
It's really ace that Avast made it onto the OS X platform. So elegantly too. I waited years.

Has anyone
in the Avast community any news of, or know whether anyone is working on/rooting for a version of Webrep for Mozilla's Seamonkey browser (for Avast on Macs obviously)?

I know it's a 'minority' browser and all that, but it wraps up all my browsing, RSS, web design & mail needs in one tidy app and is soooo much sweeter & more capable than F'fox I reckon.
Having Webrep working with it would be really useful and reassuring. Plus there's now a working unofficial
64-bit Windozy edition of SM'y too (gentle plug and pats on the back for whoever made that happen).
Come back dear Camino, all is forgiven!

Thanx people, I live in hope.

Heh, this post may not appear the way I quite wanted it to, fancy formatting & font commands n'all...

Hi,
support of Seamonkey isn't planned. It would be nice but we have only limited programmer resources.

Anyway, thank you for the proposal
