Script shield not picking up anything?

I noticed this morning that the script shield isn't scanning anything, like it thinks nothing is going on when I'm on firefox. Does the recent firefox update have anything to do with it? This isn't the first time something like this has happened.

Do you have firefox 23.0 and avast 8.0.1489 ?

If so there are a number of topics on this, you can try the current beta for avast 8.0 R3 that resolves this, see http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=131804.0.
