password protected files

Hi all
I read the past (July 20th) thread on this topic. My problem is that the 'password protected' files don't exist! There are many files with names/paths like: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\DRM\install_flashplayer|>images\bgBody.png. [Note: the files all differ after the |> part of the path.] Trouble is that these files don't exist; they aren't simply hidden, at least as far as I can determine, and they can't be found by searching. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Avast (for different reasons) to no effect. And I can't select them to do anything after a full Avast scan.  Any ideas?  Thanks in advance.

Why would you select them and what are you intending to do with them These files could be hidden or protected etc.
If you've read the replies, they aren't dangerous as long as they are in their protected state.

Everything behind the |> marker is a content inside of an archive - only the install_flashplayer file exists on your disk.

I am always suspicious of files I cannot find, especially given the sophistication of malware today. 'install_flashplayer' is not a hidden file -- the DRM folder is empty even when I change all the file attributes (to and from hidden). But I guess I'll just have to live with it.
