It would appear that the Smart Update didn't download the Changelog or Readme files. Also there is no change to the Date modified on the avast! External Control.exe after the update.

Ok,just uploaded 1.6.131.
Looks like i somehow forgot to include Readme and Changelog files in AEC 1.6.130 release.

You can get new AEC via Smart AutoUpdate or via my webpage.

Thanks RejZoR,

Just used the Smart Update and it worked fine, updating the Changelog.rtf file and also updateing the date modified for avast! External Control.exe and Changelog.rtf after the update (no change in readme.rtf I assume).

The only reason I mentioned it was there has been no change in the date modified in the image above.

The description for Web Shield Power Mode tweak and Restore Default settings function are included in the readme.rtf file though.

Have you not tried the Smart Update option within AEC, the last option in the list.
