Screen lock can be killed using back button
« on: August 28, 2013, 11:40:26 PM »
Hello and thank you for this fantastic app!

I've found something that can be a major issue. I have enabled the developer option 'Kill app back button' and I also use the default screen lock with PIN. When a Lock command is sent to my device the Avast screen lock appears but holding down back button kills it and (luckily) the default screen lock appears.

ROM: NexusHD2-JellyBean-CM10.1_V2.6
Avast Anti-Theft: 3.0 Build 6158
Root Installation

Once again,

Thanks,

Rodrigo

Hello,

so the app is working as intended. We can't make the lockscreen "unkillable". But we made sure that there's an android lock screen right behind it.

If you set a lock screen yourself, you are protected anyway.
If you don't have a lock screen configured, our geniuses found a way to engage the android lock screen behind the Anti-Theft lock screen anyway.

so - one may kill the Anti-Theft lock screen - but still can't access the device.

Hello,

I wasn't  aware that the app is supposed to behave that way.

Vielen dank!
