«

Hello all,
I need to move the SOA role of an EPSP infrastructure to another server. Is there a way to transfer all groups and related settings to the new server?
TIA.

The suggested restore process ended up with error "Unable to restore database!", this might be due to "Database version: -1" in the source SOA.
Still stuck... any help?
Thanks.

Do you use the embedded DB or an SQL Server Instance?
If you are using the embedded DB:
1. Stop the Administration Console Service.
2. Remove the *.sdf file from the SOA's Program Data folder.
3. Run the restore command.

Good point, Avosec, I was trying to transfer a SQL-based SOA to an embedded DB based one... it all seems OK now.
Thanks for your help.
