modifying the date created registration problem
« on: May 09, 2005, 11:02:57 AM »
Hi, have the home edition. I had to solve some problem with a software so I had to change the date on my pc and reboot. Avast said a mistake had ocurred and that my registration key was no longer valid. When I set the clock back to the right date after solving my problem Avast still warned me again that there was a problem and that I should get a new registration key.
What should I do?

Avast still warned me again that there was a problem and that I should get a new registration key.
What should I do?
Exactly this! Get a new registration key, registering again.
Maybe you'll need to uninstall avast, boot, install again to use the key. But, first, test just adding the key again  :)

Thanks, but how do I change the key, where do I go in Avast?
