Hi all, my Avast free is giving me some trouble and cant seem to figure it out. After a Windows 7 x64 update a few months ago my avast thinks my Windows 7 is now Windows server and will not update.
I have uninstalled all updates from that date and still nothing ( its taken me a awhile to get around to it ). One problem i have found is that my Windows 7 now functions like windows 08 R2 even after uninstalling all updates. I am reluctant to format and start over and i have no restore points.
Any help would be great. Thanks
