« on: September 08, 2013, 06:38:53 PM »
Hi there, i have a question for the Avast Evangelists. I have just installed MR free and selected create an image of Windows partitions needed to be restored. I have selected the following options:

Backup definition file: D/Macrium Reflect Backup Image/Full C image backup.xml
destination: D/Macrium Reflect Backup Image/Full C image backup/this is the name.mrimg
Compression: High
I am currently backing up C and system reserved drive

Something wrong? ::)

Hi,nothing that I see. :) You don't have to back up the system reserved each time if you don't want to. 1(one) time and save it.
Just be sure to build the restore disk.I recommend building the WinPE version, it's more hardware compatible than the linux one.And of course test it to make sure it boots correctly and sees your hard drives before you actually need it. Hope this helps.
