Worth getting teatimer? Some alternatives?
« on: September 08, 2013, 02:28:24 PM »
Hello

I'd like to incrase my security and I have been using spybot v1 along with the teatimer for quite long time.
But now as I have seen and heard spybot is quite behind and the version2 is not really worth it. So now wonder if atleast the teatimer is worth installing or using. What do you guys think? What are your opinions or personal experience on this ? Isnt something better out there to get instead of teatimer? ( as far as I know it should have permament protection from spyware/malware , but I could be wrong )

Thanks a lot

review of spybot 2.   http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2412372,00.asp
i think they are working on a new one, only time will tell if it is worth installing

uninstall Sybot and use the best one ..... Malwarebytes.   :)
PRO version is a one time fee for a liftime license

Seems okay and how about malwarebytes ? The paid version is it good or better than winpatrol? What are your opinions on teatimer?
