Hi Folks,
On Wednesday, I started a Boot Scan. After 45 minutes, it had only done 4% so I aborted the scan. This is what it found:-

File C:\Users\George\AppData\Local\Microsoft\MBSA\Cache\mbsB54A.tmp|>package.cab Error 42127 {CAB archive is corrupted.}

Scanning aborted
Number of searched folders: 985
Number of tested files: 524569

I was wondering if what it found was the reason my Laptop is soooo slow.

I used CCleaner and a defrag using Auslogics before doing a backup using Acronis before doing the scan. I will now run a full scan.
