I have a Nook HD+ and im running a SD card with Cyanogen Mod dual booting to android 4.2.2. Since this is basically 2 different OS, and i don't see the Avast logo on the SD card. should i install Avast on the SD card as well ?

Hi,
why would you see our logo on your SD card? If you are talking about your CM ROM instance, you have to install it there separately (just as you would on dual boot Windows for example, if you want the apps to be truly installed).

Since you are using two OS's, you need to install avast (as well as other software) on each OS to work.
Simply put:
If you have two pc's and you install software on one of them, it will not automaticly work on the other.
