Now thats some serious update then igor. Nice to see FSG,MEW and PE Deminisher.
These were the most popular packers in last few weeks (months).

EDIT:
Any plans for Morphine ? It seems to be very common too on lots of malware.

Any chance the final release of this beta will address the outbound email scanning issue that I reported in the thread listed below?

Thanks,
Harvey

I really don't think the scanner speed can be improved (other than simply scanning less).

But on the other hand, how ESET guys can make it? NOD32 is the fastest scanner ever seen by me. There obviously is some way to improve scan speed. Just take your time, maybe you'll find something hehe :)

Well, I'd say the "scanning less" applies here.

But how can you scan less and detect the same(and even more)? NOD32 detection doesn't seem to suffer due to fast scanning... thats why i'm wondering the most ???

How can you say that!?

NOD32 always had better detection rate than avast! and even setting the active scanner of NOD32 to scan all files, NOD32 is much quicker than avast!...

I think that you need another reason to explain that... ;)

So what? I didn't say it has worse detection, did I?

By "scanning less" I just mean scanning smaller parts of files. It doesn't necessarily have to imply worse detection capabilities, if the virus database is built accordingly.

You only asked one question '?'
