I've got a Galaxy SII running 4.1.2. When I pull down my Notifications screen I see Avast is "scanning apps" but it stays at 0% and I think it is the reason why my battery is running down at a ridiculously fast rate. It's always telling me it's scanning apps with nothing happening.
The activity log says the app was updated on Oct 11 (3 days ago) and nothing has been scanned since. It is scheduled to run an automatic scan on Sunday but this never happened.
If I manually run virus scanner the scan time is the only thing changing - nothing on the progress bar and and zero objects being scanned. The cancel button won't work. Keeps saying "scanning" and stays at 0%
any ideas of how to fix this gratefully received
