Yesterday, I tried using the SpeQ 2.3 calculator program but the latest update of Avasti instantly quarantined it. This small, benign program has been around for the past 6 years and I was using it regularly every couple of days. I wasted over an hour to figure out what happened and how to re-install it. This required scanning the computer before realizing what happened, then stopping Avasti and adding both the installer and the installed .exe file to the exception list. There must be a better way to implement updates. Is there a quicker way to add installed apps - which never needs updating - to the global exceptions list???
